Brandon Hansen brings a wealth of diverse experiences and a warm, nurturing spirit to Kettle & Crow Forest School. Growing up on a farm instilled in Brandon a deep appreciation for nature, making him a strong advocate for the importance of outdoor learning experiences for young children. When he’s not at Forest School, Brandon works as a certified Direct Support Professional (DSP), providing care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to caring for others.
Brandon’s journey in early childhood education includes serving as a youth camp counselor at the YMCA, where he honed his skills in creating engaging and supportive environments for children. He also had the unique opportunity to teach English to children aged 5-7 in Siem Reap, Cambodia, broadening his perspective on education and deepening his commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments.
In addition to his educational background, Brandon holds a degree in Sound Engineering and Audio Technology. As a musician, he eagerly incorporates music into his teaching, enriching the learning experience and bringing joy to his students. Known for his kind and gentle demeanor, Brandon absolutely loves working with little ones and is dedicated to fostering their growth and development in a natural setting.
Brandon is excited to be a part of Kettle & Crow, where he can combine his love for nature, music, and early childhood education to create a nurturing and inspiring environment for all children.
